Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (2023)


  1. Level 2 or above attainment for all subjects reached 99.2%, when compared with the Hong Kong average of 85.0%. Our school's Level 4 or above attainment was 71.6%, compared with the 35.6% average of Hong Kong. The attainment of Level 5 or above also exceeded the Hong Kong average of 13.0%, reaching 29.0% this year.
  2. The percentage of Level 5-5** of most subjects was better than that of the Hong Kong average, some of which exceeded the percentage of the Hong Kong average 2 times or more.
    For Tourism and Hospitality Studies, our Level 5-5** attainment was over 6 times the Hong Kong average.
    For Chinese History, our Level 5-5** attainment was over 5.5 times the Hong Kong average.
    For Chinese Literature, our Level 5-5** attainment was over 4 times the Hong Kong average.
    For Information and Communication Technology, our Level 5-5** attainment was over 3 times the Hong Kong average.
    For History, our Level 5-5** attainment was about 3 times the Hong Kong average.
    For Mathematics, our Level 5-5** attainment was about 2.5 times the Hong Kong average.
    For Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics Extended Part Module 1 and Economics, our Level 5-5** attainment was over 2 times the Hong Kong average.
  3. 92.7% of our students met the general entrance requirements of UGC-funded institutions (33222 or above), compared with the Hong Kong average of 36.6%.

Pathways for S6 Graduates (2023)


  1. The university admission rate (degree and sub-degree programmes) for S6 students was 96.9%, among which 83.3% were admitted to degree programmes.
  2. 83.3% of S6 students entered degree programmes, of which 86.3% were offered by local universities, 7.5% by overseas universities and 6.2% by universities in the Mainland.
  3. 11 of our S6 students were admitted to the Mainland, Taiwan and overseas institutes, accounting for 13.7% of the total.
